Paradise Island
Situated North of New Providence Island is the world famous Paradise Island, which is the most visited island in The Bahamas.
Many hotels, restaurants, shops and residences are located on this beautiful island. The widely known hotel of Atlantis is an integral feature of this Paradise.
To set foot on this island one must cross the Nassau Harbour by means of the newly built bridge or one could take a short boat ride, though the latter is more cumbersome.
Paradise Island, known as 'P.I' for short, offers some of the best beaches in The Bahamas and in fact, the world. The white powdery sand stretches along the northern side and is greeted by the tranquil aquamarine ocean waters as joggers run by.
Real estate on Paradise Island continues to grow with impressible leaps. The newly built Ocean Club Residences for example have doubled in Market Value in a few years.
